Edward Wheeler
Edward has over a decade of experience in the UK’s super-prime residential sector, leading the design and delivery of high-end projects with a strong focus on quality, detail, and client engagement.

With more than a decade of experience within the super-prime residential sector, Edward has successfully led the design and delivery of a wide variety of luxury projects throughout the UK. He particularly enjoys driving the creative direction of the practice whilst promoting new business and client engagement.
Graduating from the University of Portsmouth, Edward enjoys the delivery of contemporary new builds and sensitive refurbishments, always marked by meticulous attention to detail, technical expertise, and a creative approach shaped around each client’s unique vision. He is recognised for his ability to collaborate seamlessly with clients, consultants, and design teams—ensuring that even the most ambitious and complex projects are brought to life with clarity, quality, and care.
Having grown up in Pembrokeshire, West Wales, Edward particularly enjoys spending time back on the coast, usually resulting in a frantic dash after his 2 miniature dachshunds, Elvis and Eugene, as they embark on another ‘adventure’ across the local beaches.
Julian Hurley
Julian is an ARB-registered architect and RIBA chartered member with extensive experience in residential and heritage projects, combining technical precision with a strong sensitivity to context.
Julian Hurley
Julian is also an ARB-registered architect and chartered RIBA member, with a BSc(Hons), Postgraduate Diploma in Architecture, and an MA. He brings a wealth of experience in the delivery of projects across varying typologies, with a particular experience in heritage and complex refurbishment projects.
Julian has been instrumental in the successful refurbishments and extensions of listed buildings and conservation sites, as well as in the delivery of diverse residential and commercial schemes. His approach combines a deep respect for the character and context of every site with technical precision and creative problem-solving.
Julian is valued for his methodical working style, collaborative attitude, and ability to navigate the unique challenges of sensitive sites while consistently achieving innovative, practical design outcomes.
Julian is also a Committee Member of the local branch of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA).
Ane Mateos
Ane brings over a decade of experience in the UK residential sector, delivering elegant and highly functional spaces through a refined design sensibility and strong technical expertise.

With over a decade of experience in the UK’s residential sector, Ane brings a refined design sensibility and a dedicated focus to the Studio 80|six team. She excels at translating complex briefs into elegant, highly functional spaces, and finds genuine satisfaction in guiding projects from their initial creative spark through to a precise, high-quality finish.
A graduate of the University of the Basque Country and the University of Oulu in Finland, Ane combines an international outlook with strong technical expertise. Her approach is rooted in a deep appreciation for the relationship between contemporary aesthetics and structural integrity, consistently balancing striking design with the practical needs of each client. Collaborative and detail-oriented, she works closely with consultants and design teams to ensure a seamless and coordinated process from concept to completion.
Originally from the scenic coast of Northern Spain, Ane now draws inspiration from London’s dynamic architectural landscape. A keen traveller and linguist, she enjoys exploring new cultures as much as she does uncovering a hidden gallery or discovering a new corner of the city.
Radostina Stoyanova
Radostina has over ten years of experience in the UK architectural industry, specialising in technical delivery, complex refurbishments, and detail-led design development.

Qualified in 2024, Radostina has worked in the UK architectural industry for over ten years while completing her studies. She has experience across all stages of the design and construction process, with a professional focus on Stage 4 and 5 delivery, where her attention to detail and technical resolution bring design concepts to life.
Throughout her career, she has developed a deep understanding of working within constrained and historically sensitive urban sites, delivering complex refurbishments—often involving listed buildings. She approaches each project with an appreciation for context and a commitment to creating architecture that respects both the environment and the needs of the client. Radostina is also passionate about 3D visualisation and excels at realising intricate design details and seamless joinery.
Radostina finds inspiration in nature, particularly by the sea. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys quiet weekends spent on creative and detail-oriented pursuits such as intricate puzzles or building with LEGO, reflecting the same patience and precision she brings to her architectural practice.
Mario Markarov
Mario is a technically-driven designer with over 8 years of experience across the UK and Europe, specialising in complex projects, digital modelling, and precise technical delivery.
Mario Markarov
Mario is a technically-driven designer with a sharp eye for detail and over 8 years of professional experience across the UK and Europe.
He began his career at a leading AJ100 practice in London, delivering technical packages for large-scale commercial schemes including pharmaceutical and data centre projects valued between £100–300 million.
His move into high-end residential design saw him take on projects from early concept through to delivery, securing planning permissions and coordinating complex builds ranging from £500,000 to £5 million in value.
At Studio80|six, Mario brings his passion for workflow systemisation and digital modelling to the fore, ensuring every stage of a project is precisely managed and efficiently delivered. He’s currently leading the technical delivery of two major schemes in Central and West London, totalling over 24,000 sq.ft combined.
His approach is collaborative and detail-focused, working closely with clients, consultants, and contractors to deliver architecture that performs as beautifully as it looks.

Lucy is our Office Manager with over 10 years of experience in the architecture industry. Organised, approachable and always ready to help, she keeps the studio running smoothly and plays an important role in bringing the team together.

With a strong background in supporting busy architectural teams, Lucy handles day-to-day operations, coordinates schedules, and keeps projects on track behind the scenes. She’s known for being organised, calm under pressure, and always ready to help wherever needed.
Her mix of professionalism and warmth makes her a key part of the team, helping create a friendly, efficient, and well-connected working environment.
Pablo Lopez Grajales
Pablo is an ARB-registered architect with over eight years of experience working across high-end residential, commercial and educational projects. With a particular focus on technical design and delivery, he enjoys developing well-coordinated details that bring contemporary designs to life.

Pablo is an ARB registered architect with over eight years of post qualification experience in the UK, working across high end private residential, commercial, and educational sectors. His work includes hotel and multi unit residential refurbishments, as well as numerous high end single family refurbishments, extensions and new builds throughout London.
He has experience across all RIBA stages, with a particular focus on Stages 4–5. Pablo enjoys solving complex construction details and developing clear, coordinated technical information that supports clean, contemporary designs. He works closely with clients, contractors, and consultants to ensure projects progress smoothly from concept through to delivery.
Outside of work, Pablo keeps active, running, cycling, or playing tennis.

Hank, Elvis and Eugene
Hank, Elvis and Eugene are our Specialist Support team, bringing a unique combination of companionship, character and four-legged expertise to the studio. Together, they keep team morale high, provide essential breaks from the drawing board and ensure there is always someone around for a bit of fuss.

Hank, Elvis and Eugene make up our Specialist Support team, providing essential four-legged assistance across the studio. With Hank overseeing operations from a comfortable vantage point and Elvis and Eugene bringing their own particular brand of energy, the team plays an important role in keeping morale high.
Their responsibilities include welcoming visitors, providing companionship during busy periods and ensuring the team takes regular breaks away from their screens. They are also highly experienced in supervising meetings, inspecting new furniture and occupying the most inconvenient possible position when someone is trying to work.
Between them, they bring plenty of personality to the studio and are always on hand to remind the team that architecture is about more than deadlines, drawings and emails.
Outside of work, the trio enjoy walks, relaxing in the office, making new friends and generally keeping a close eye on what everyone else is up to.
